For every woman and her support team, there are important tools to help birth be a safe and sacred experience. I provide supportive birth services including childbirth education, placenta encapsulation, and postpartum doula services/newborn care.
Childbirth education provides guidance for you and your chosen birth team, as these are your people that support you in your parenting journey. Classes involve participants in a multi-sensory, interactive, and uniquely personalized learning experience. Your class sessions will give you and your chosen support the knowledge and the resources you need to fully participate as the primary member of your health care team.
Placenta encapsulation's many benefits support the new mother's nutritional and hormonal needs after birth. Marie is an encapsulation specialist, trained to understand unique placental conditions and to provide high quality care and processing of your placenta - you get only one!
Coming into the home during the fourth trimester following birth, the postpartum doula's role is to provide education, nonjudgmental support, and companionship, and to assist with newborn care and family adjustment.
